Allergy drops for environmental allergies
Daily sublingual drops for pollen, dust mite, mold and pet allergies. A Curex physician prescribes a formula matched to your test results; a specialty pharmacy compounds it and ships it to your home. Over time, your immune system becomes desensitized so symptoms fade instead of being masked.
Allergy drops for food allergies
Daily sublingual drops for IgE-mediated food allergies in patients as young as 2. Physicians trained in food allergy and pediatrics supervise every step by telemedicine. The goal is to pass a supervised food challenge and be cleared to eat small amounts of the food safely.
At-home allergy shots
The same allergy shots an allergist’s office gives, prescribed by allergy physicians and prepared by a specialty pharmacy. Protocols are designed for safe self-administration at home, with a care manager and physician supervising online. No weekly clinic visits.
Allergy testing
IgE blood testing for environmental and food allergies, three ways: visit a local lab (Curex partners with Quest, Labcorp and others), have a phlebotomist come to you, or use an at-home self-collection kit. Insurance is accepted for testing.
Eczema treatment
Compounded steroidal and non-steroidal creams for moderate to severe eczema, prescribed to stop the itch and reduce flare-ups. Physician-supervised online, prepared by a specialty pharmacy, delivered to your door.
Quickie nasal spray

No clinic visits — everything is designed for home
Every Curex program, including allergy shots, is built for safe self-administration at home. A local allergist requires weekly or biweekly office visits for shots; Curex requires none. Physicians and care managers supervise online.

The team behind Curex
Curex was founded in 2019 by allergy sufferers who had spent years in waiting rooms for weekly allergy shots and believed at-home treatment could work better.
Gene Kakaulin
Co-Founder and CEO
Gene previously co-founded two pharmacy services companies: Hippo Technologies, used by over 100,000 doctors, and Blink Health, which raised more than $200 million in venture funding. A Harvard graduate, he struggled with allergies most of his life until he discovered allergy shots. Years later he discovered allergy drops, which provided him complete relief. He started Curex to make drops convenient for everyone.

Dr. Tharpe is a board-certified allergist licensed to practice in every U.S. state. He has likely treated more patients with allergy immunotherapy than any other physician in the country.

Both use the same allergen extracts and both change how your immune system responds. Shots may work slightly faster; drops are safer, painless and far easier to stick with — Curex patients show about 3x higher adherence than shot patients. The treatment you actually complete is the one that works.
The allergen extracts in Curex drops are the same FDA-approved biologics used in allergy shots and skin tests; using them sublingually is a common, legal off-label use. Curex drops are compounded by a specialty pharmacy, and compounded medications are not individually evaluated by the FDA.
