Our commitment
Curex is a telehealth service, so our website is often the first way people reach our care team. We are committed to making it usable for as many people as possible, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design, build and test the site.
The standard we follow
Curex is committed to providing equal access to our services for people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). To guide that work, we are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab). These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
What we're doing
Recent and ongoing work on our site includes:
- Adding text descriptions to meaningful images, and hiding purely decorative images and symbols from screen readers.
- Labeling buttons, icons, star ratings and charts so screen readers announce what they mean.
- Making prices clear to screen readers, including which price is the original and which is the sale price.
- Improving color contrast so text is easier to read.
- Making sure every part of our pages can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Making sure information is never shown only on mouse hover.
- Updating our cookie notice and chat button so they work with assistive technology.
- Running an automated accessibility audit of the site every month and fixing what it finds.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We know about the following:
- Third-party tools. Some features are provided by other companies, such as live chat, payment processing, appointment scheduling and verification seals. We are working with these providers, but we don't fully control their accessibility.
- Older pages and documents. Some older pages and downloadable documents (such as PDFs) are still being reviewed and updated.
If you run into either of these, please contact us and we'll help you another way.
Compatibility
We aim for our site to work with the current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with common assistive technology, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack, screen magnifiers, and voice control software. You can also use your browser's zoom to enlarge text up to 200% without losing content.
Get help or give feedback
If you have trouble using any part of our site, or you'd like information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us what you were trying to do and we will help you complete it, by phone if needed.

What happens next
We read every message. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and we'll let you know what we're doing about the problem you reported. If something is stopping you from getting care, we'll help you complete it another way, such as by phone, while we work on a fix.
We review this statement whenever we make significant changes to our site, and at least once a year.
