How it works

Vasovagal syncope is an autonomic fainting episode that occurs during or immediately after injection, with pallor, cold clammy skin, bradycardia (slow heart rate), and rapid recovery within one to two minutes of lying supine. Anaphylaxis typically begins 5 to 30 minutes after injection and includes warm flushed skin, urticaria, angioedema, tachycardia, wheezing, and sustained hypotension that does not resolve with positioning alone.
