Understanding Insurance & Curex

Curex is focused on making our services affordable and convenient.  This is why we recently started accepting health insurance to cover some of our services.

Option 1: Insurance plans with required quarterly video visits
Monthly

$59/month for immunotherapy subscription

+

Visit Copay (6 per year)*
(capped at $400 maximum out-of-pocket annually)

Annual

$590/year for immunotherapy subscription

+

Visit Copay (6 per year)*
(capped at $400 maximum out-of-pocket annually)

2 months free!

*Copay is the patient responsibility for each required video visit. Patient responsibility and copay depend on your plan (deductibles, coinsurance, telemedicine benefit) and will not exceed an additional $400/year out of pocket (eg: Total maximum cost: $590 immunotherapy subscription + $400 maximum out of pocket per year = $990).

While some insurance plans can save patients a lot of money, sometimes it is cheaper to avoid all copays and use our Self-Pay option of $99/month or $990/year. It includes allergy drops and continuous clinical care without video visits.

If you prefer to switch to Self-Pay:

Option 2: Self-Pay plans with no video visits and no copays**.
Monthly

$99/month for immunotherapy subscription

Annual

$990/year for immunotherapy subscription

2 months free!

** Some states may have a video call requirement to establish a patient-provider relationship.  If required, you will not be charged extra for it.

Note: immunotherapy subscription includes allergy drops shipped quarterly, access to our telemedicine platform and continuous clinical care.

Please note that the costs of allergy testing are not included in the prices above and will be billed separately by the lab conducting the test (if such a test is needed).

Monthly
$49/month

+ Copay (Patient responsibility for each required quarterly video visit)

Annual
$490/year

+ Copay (Patient responsibility for each required quarterly video visit)

If you pick an insurance plan, we will bill your insurance for each quarterly visit (required).  However, this doesn't guarantee payment, as your health insurance company may deny payment for any service. If your insurance company denies payment, you will be personally and fully responsible for payment after services are rendered, including any co-payment, non-covered portions, deductible amount, or coinsurance that applies.

Curex cannot accurately estimate how much your insurance will pay and how much you will be responsible for paying.  But the patient's responsibility will not exceed $400 per year.

We encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask your member representative about your ‘allergy, asthma, and telemedicine visit’ benefits. Once a claim is submitted, we are unable to take it back.  By proceeding, you agree to pay any additional charges that may be incurred that are not covered by your insurance policy.

Important Reminder About Our Insurance Plans

As a valued patient at Curex, your insurance plan necessitates a minimum of six consultations per year. It's essential to schedule these appointments to maintain your coverage. If you don't meet this requirement, Curex may transition your account to a self-pay plan. This alternative plan does not mandate video consultations, but it does mean you'll be responsible for covering the cost of your treatments. Please ensure you schedule your six consultations annually to continue enjoying your current benefits.

Please note that the costs of allergy testing is not included in the prices above and will be billed separately by the lab conducting the test (if such a test is needed).

Allergy testing is billed by our lab partners and not by Curex. Please verify your insurance coverage with the lab before getting tested to avoid high co-pays. In rare instances, labs might offer a cash option that can be more affordable than using insurance.

What happens if I have a high deductible or copay?

While some insurance plans can save patients a lot of money, sometimes it is cheaper to avoid all copays and use our Self-Pay option of $99/month or $990/year. It includes allergy drops and continuous clinical care. Our care team will work with you to find the most affordable way to use our services. We provide the most cost effective allergy immunotherapy service in the U.S. and we will ensure that you get the best deal.
