How does immunotherapy work?

Immunotherapy treats the source of your allergies, not just the symptoms, providing long-term relief with at-home treatment.

By exposing your body to small amounts of the allergen over time, immunotherapy builds up your body's resistance to an allergen.

Allergy immunotherapy is used by thousands of clinicians in the U.S. to treat allergies. Unlike medications like antihistamines, sprays, and inhalers that only reduces symptoms, immunotherapy addresses the root cause of allergies.

FAQ

What is allergy immunotherapy?

Chevron

Immunotherapy is a longstanding form of treatment that aims to meaningfully reduce the underlying cause of indoor/outdoor allergies. Immunotherapy is frequently practiced by using FDA-approved allergens for shots or allergy tablets. Treatment plans are customized to the individual patient based on medical profile, test results, and lifestyle needs.

When will I start to see improvement? How long do I stay on the treatment?

Chevron

Efficacy of treatment varies, but many patients start noticing improvements in symptoms within the first 6 months. Curex-associated clinicians will be available for ongoing care, monitoring your symptoms and adjusting treatment as necessary. Physicians generally recommend that you stay on treatment for at least 3 years, to help achieve long lasting relief.

Who is a good candidate for immunotherapy?

Chevron

We treat patients as young as 5 and as old as 80. Most have indoor/outdoor allergies, eczema or allergy induced asthma. Immunotherapy can be effective for allergies caused by pollens, weeds, grasses, dust mites, molds, cats and dogs.

Can food allergies be treated with immunotherapy?

Chevron

The Curex platform does not treat food allergies at this moment. But we will be happy to refer you to a local clinic that may be able to help.

Will I still have to take my allergy, asthma or eczema medications?

Chevron

Most of our customers are taking medications for their symptoms when they start with Curex. If needed, our clinicians can help with the right prescription for tablets, sprays, steroids or inhalers. Over time, most patients on immunotherapy experience a reduction in symptoms and decrease their medications. Some even stop taking them regularly.

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

Chevron

You can cancel your membership and subscription at any time. All you have to do is message our team and notify us about needing to pause or cancel the subscription. No pharmacy products are eligible for refunds once they have been dispensed.
