  • If an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen) is available and the reaction appears severe, use it immediately following the prescribed directions.
 

Monitor and Keep Calm

 
  • Keep the affected person calm and seated or lying down in a comfortable position. Monitor breathing, pulse, and responsiveness until professional help arrives.
 

Positioning and Additional Support

 
  • If the patient is feeling faint, have them lie down and elevate their legs unless breathing difficulties suggest a more upright position. Ensure the airway remains open.
