Keep the patient calm and in a safe, comfortable position. If they are having difficulty breathing, allow them to sit up; otherwise, have them lie down and elevate their legs.
Monitor the patient closely for any changes in breathing, consciousness, or other symptoms until help arrives.
Avoid giving any additional fluids, including Pedialyte, or any oral medications during the emergency unless directed by emergency personnel.

Aftercare and Monitoring

Once emergency responders take over, provide them with a detailed account of the incident, including how much Pedialyte was ingested and any previous history of allergies or anaphylaxis.
